The young company Alpinia Group manages several tourist accommodations in Bohinj. They are driven by youthful drive, fresh ideas and the desire to create really good stories. Jure Repanšek, director of Alpinia hotels, explains how the story of Hotel Bohinj began.

Such an extraordinary destination deserves and needs hotel tourism, which also reflects the demand for rooms. The vision of the project is not only in the hotel industry but also in a wide cultural and sports-recreational offer that satisfies the young and the young at heart. “Our guests want peace and nature and appreciate them very much, but at the same time they want fun, good local drinks, and food in the evenings.”
Even the materials for the renovation are largely from the Bohinj Valley…
“We want to meet them here, and that is why we are closely connected with local growers/producers and contractors,” describes Repanšek. Not only the catering offer but also the renovation materials are largely from the Bohinj Valley. At the same time, he adds: “Despite many warnings, you quickly realize that the people of Bohinj are anything but closed, reserved, and resentful people.”
